Pastor Kris Belfils started ministering at a young age of 15 when she became the Worship Leader of her own Youth Group. She has always had a passion to see people transformed by the power of God. From leading worship with the Youth, she began leading worship for congregations at various churches in the Pacific Northwest in the United States.
Her passion to see people transformed by God evolved into speaking and preaching all over the world. She is compelled to write and preach for God's glory and to help others grow in Christ. Pastor Kris is married to her husband, Ron (since 1985), and has two beautiful daughters; Tori, and Karissa Belfils.

Ginny grew up a Pastor’s kid. When she was 17 she had a major encounter with Jesus through a Young Life group. She gave her heart to the Lord, and started living for Him. She is a United States Veteran, joining the Navy right out of high school. She has been involved with Christian bands though the years playing the drums and singing. She graduated from Bible school at Inland Northwest Institute in Spokane, WA. She was married for many years, and had two children. She was divorced in 2005. She knows and understands the hurts of broken relationships. She has learned to be “Complete in Christ”, and longs to see others experience this liberating way of life. Ginny has been very involved in her church. Being active in the Worship band, and leading a singles group.
She has been with Hope Fellowship since the very start of it’s creation, and helping out as the church secretary. Hope Fellowship singles group is part of a family that cares, and encourages each other. They meet on the first Saturday of the month at 3pm for a time in the Word, worship, prayer and fellowship. Ginny’s desire is to see a fire ignited in each person for the things of God and love for His Word. To establish a core prayer group that lifts up their Pastor, congregation and each other during the month and to share in God’s praises enthusiastically.
Laura Dowty has been attending Hope Fellowship since 2013. Laura is currently serving Hope’s Women’s Ministry as their Director. He vision is to see women grow stronger in their faith and for revival to break strong holds that have berry keeping women from building deeper relationships with Christ and each other.
Laura and her husband, Raymond Layton, moved to Spokane 20 years ago. Laura attended and graduated Gonzaga University of Law and is an Attorney in Spokane. Raymond and Laura have one teenage son, Eliott, and four furry kids (3 dogs and 1 cat). They have been homeschooling Eliott since he was in 1st grade. As a family they love to camp and spend their summers at the lake. They also enjoy biking and swimming. Laura is an avid crafter, an d enjoy reading and loves to sing.
At this time the women meet once a month to enjoy fellowship with each other. They engage in various activities ranging from crafts, holiday events, and dinning out. In the future we hope to have Women’s Retreats, and Conferences.
Lyn has lived in Spokane for most of his life. Graduated from University High School in 1991. He has been a cook for over 25 years in the Spokane area. Lyn had a radical encounter with God after an automobile accident and drug abuse in 2011 where he gave his life over to the Lord. Since then he has been passionate about seeing men set free in Jesus and transformed by the power of God. Lyn is dedicated to building Christ like leaders for their families, friends, church and community. He has been with Hope Fellowship since 2012.
Ever since Karissa was a little girl she has had a passion for the Lord and to worship Him. Through the years She has walked beside her mom (Pastor Kris Belfils) in ministry for most of her life. She has traveled across the nations pursuing and learning first hand how ministry works, and cultivating a hunger to see people fall in love with Jesus. Worship leading has become an effortless outpouring of Karissa’s heart that is joyfully surrendered to loving the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
